Fish Restaurant: Fresh Seafood and Unforgettable Dining in Sausalito

Very good fish and chips. Great post hike meal. Nice place to sit outside and eat. Got fish and chips, lemonade, and a coke for $34. Even though it's pricey the fish was fresh and worth the money. Guess it's why they named the place after it.

This place was absolutely delicious! Very popular and we waited almost an hour to order and get our food. I would recommend if you go to not go during peak hours. The line died down about an hour and a half and was moving so fast. The crab roll was great! Lots of meat and you could really taste how fresh the crab was. I just wish there was something to even it out. The fish tacos were refreshing and well balanced. I was a bit sad about the clam dip but that's just because I didn't realize it wasn't a baked dip. It was cold but tasted great!

Tomato clam chowder soup was amazing!! Went perfect with the fish and chips which were light and had the perfect amount of batter... and truly nothing like eating oysters right next to the water. Casual outdoor and indoor seating and you order at the counter.

Some of the best seafood I have ever had. Get there early! Highly recommended this spot. I will be back!

Far from the tourist center of Sausalito, closer to warehouses and a yacht club. The seaside ambiance really felt like a legit fish shack. You order and pay at the counter, get a number and someone eventually brings food to your table. Pretty low key. Great way to enjoy some nice weather outside. Clam Dip: So much fresher than those store-bought clam dips, with fresh cream and herbs! Very chunky too, with tons of big clam pieces. Seriously, the best clam dip I've ever had. Though the only complaint would be that the chips offered weren't really enough to scoop up all the dip. Queso Fundido with Homemade Octopus Chorizo: Delicious creamy warm melted queso with lots of nice spices. Couldn't even tell that the octopus chorizo was any different from pork chorizo and that's kinda magical. Loved the thick tortilla chips to pair with this. Fish & Chips: I can totally understand why this is a favorite here. The fish pieces are plump and high quality, no dark meat fishy bits in this cod. Nice amount of batter too. Plus the wedges are perfectly crusty and nicely spiced. A real treat. Mussels Congolaise: Seemed a bit pricey for mussels. I liked the rich creaminess of the sauce and the blend of spices. However, something tasted really smoky and it took away from the natural taste of the fresh shellfish. Served with two bread slices, but would have been so much better with some thin pomme frites.

Came to Fish after a hike in Marin and was very impressed. They offer outdoor dining on their patio overlooking the water. We first ordered and opted to sit inside as it was a bit windy. Service was very quick, which we appreciated as we had worked up an appetite. We ordered a variety of dishes, but started off with their oysters which were very fresh and clam chowder. We ordered the Crab & Garlic noodles off their specials menu which had a lot of flavor, but a tad salty. The crab sandwich was simple yet tasted amazing. The cole slaw had a hint of sesame ginger which was outstanding. The fish & chips were our least favorite dish we ordered. Everything was reasonably priced, considering seafood is always more expensive. Will definitely be back!

This is my safe space! I absolutely love coming here and taking my friends or family when they visit. The staff is always so lovely and service is speedy. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your picnic table. I've tried so many different things here and loved every meal I've had. The fish is fresh and perfectly cooked. Even for my friends who don't like fish, they said the burger was delicious. The vibes are what make this place so special. Drinks served in mason jars, oysters over ice, views of the marina, sitting around a picnic table, and string lights with a fire at night. If you can only come one time you have to oysters, fish and chips, and an Arnold Palmer. If you can make room for more the Ruben or fish tacos are a next must. Can't wait to keep coming back here

Great little waterfront spot in Sausalito! Fish is a Sausalito classic and usually has a line out the door on the weekends. You order at the counter, grab a table, and wait for a server to bring you your food. I tried the Fish and Chips and White Clam Chowder. The breading on the fish was light and crispy, and the cod inside was tender and flaky. The chips are crisp and well-seasoned - there were so many potato wedges that I couldn't finish. The clam chowder was also deliciously savory and a great option if you want something warm. They have mostly outdoor tables as well as a few indoor ones. Bring a jacket because it can get chilly by the water!
